Amado was my German Shepherd’s  luca trainer he was amazing very informative always kept me updated and always made sure that Luca, my dog felt safe. Highly recommend Ridgeside! Our puppy Enzo came home with fantastic basics that have made daily life so much easier. He now recalls well, walks pleasantly on the leash, and is building great duration on his "place" command. Amado set up a wonderful foundation for us to keep working on at home. We dropped off our now 6 month old Rottweiler puppy for 4 weeks of training and could not be happier with the outcome. Bear started resource guarding his food and treats and ended up growling barking snapping and even biting us if we got to close. We were scared of what this could turn into as he got older and knew that it had to be nipped in the butt now. Then we found Ridgeside K9. Stella and Kendall were Bears trainers and they were and are amazing. They train from the dogs point of view and make it his idea to do the things he is being asked. I was so shocked when we picked him back up. Bear no longer was guarding bones or his food and instead would bring you them for you to hold them. This gave us so much relief and happiness. We would worry so much about how other people approached him so as not to do something he wouldn’t like. It made us a nervous wreck. We have so much more trust in bear now. He is an amazing family dog! Very obedient and genuinely just wants to please people. He is so loved. One thing about Ridgeside K9 That really sets them apart from other training facilities is that it feels like a family. They treat your dog like their own and always put their best interest first. They are very trustworthy. We are forever grateful for the positive impact that not only made our lives better but most importantly made Bears life better. Ridgeside K9 Central Florida was amazing. 5 Stars plus!!!! We brought our 15 month old German Shepherd there for a 4 week Board & Train. It was a great program. Rocky came back to us a new dog. We highly recommend all dog owners to take advantage of this great program. Our Trainer, Amado, is an outstanding Trainer. He kept us updated with videos, photos, texts & phone calls. I highly recommend Ridgeway canine. Five stars across the board my Golden doodle Lucy was in training for five weeks. When she came home she was a different dog, her trainer,  Amado, was patient, knowledgeable, And always willing to answer my  questions. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the experience .

I cannot say enough good things about Ridgeside K9 and Kendall!

When I first found Billy Ray, I found him literally in the middle of the road. He was a rescue with so much potential, but he definitely had a mind of his own, especially when it came to recall.

The moment I knew he truly needed professional training was when I took him boating. We were on an island, and Billy Ray heard a dog barking from the shore. Without hesitation, he jumped in the water and swam completely across the channel toward the shore. He never looked back at me. I called him, and he had absolutely ZERO recall. Watching my dog swim away from me across a channel was terrifying, and that was the moment I knew I needed help.

That’s when I found Ridgeside K9 and decided to send Billy Ray for their four-week Stay & Train with Kendall.

The transformation is honestly astounding.

I have since taken Billy Ray back out on the boat, and I cannot tell you how incredible it feels to see the difference. His recall was 100%. He listened, responded immediately, and stayed connected to me even with all the excitement and distractions around him. I felt completely safe having him off leash, and that is something I never would have imagined before his training.

Kendall did an amazing job with him. Four weeks made such a tremendous difference, not just in Billy Ray’s obedience, but in my confidence in him and our relationship.

I drove almost two hours for his training, and I can honestly say it was worth every single mile. I would absolutely recommend Ridgeside K9 and Kendall to anyone looking for quality, effective training.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ridgeside K9 and K9 Trainer Kendall. The time, patience, dedication, and genuine love Kendall poured into LT throughout his six weeks of training were truly remarkable. It was clear from the beginning that LT was not simply another dog in the program—he was treated with kindness, compassion, and individual attention every step of the way.

We did a 2 week puppy board and train with our 13 week old Belgian malinois puppy Kate. Let me just say that my expectations were greatly exceeded. I appreciated how much Stella and Taylor communicated with me about my options for her and also all the updates while she was in training. When I went to pick her up they gave me so much good information on how to continue and reinforce her training.

Before she went to training, she was decent for a Malinois puppy, but couldn’t be off leash in the house due to getting into everything and chewing things up, and she struggling with being calm in her crate as well as Leash manners. I wanted her to be able to be calm in public and in different environments, focus on me, and have more manners and when I say they delivered me a completely different dog it is remarkable.

Since getting Kate back a few days ago I have already seen such a huge change in her. She is calmer in her crate, I have been able to take her to Petsmart, out to dinner, and in Sephora and she did phenomenal. Barely used her ecollar, because she did so incredible on a leash. Everytime I stopped walked she would immediately stop, sit, and look for me to tell her what was next. Having a high energy working breed dog was intimidating and I new she would need a lot of training but the change in just two weeks (especially after having a less than great experience in the past with a board and train with my German shepherd with a different training program in Tampa) is absolutely remarkable.

The day I picked her up and saw how locked in she was on Stella and how good of a relationship the two of them had built in just a short time gave me so much excitement and hope for building that same handler type relationship with her. Her sit, down, leash manners, crate manners, and recall were all greatly improved and I look forward to working with Stella and Taylor in the future on teaching her new things and upkeep when it comes to her training. I truly could not be more grateful for them giving my girl the best start possible on her training journey and setting us both up for longterm success. Good training gives her so much more freedom both in and out of the house and in truly seeing my dream dog come to life.
